Sketch #24

Back to our regular Friday sketch now I think, let's get some pages done on our weekends. If we can't carve ourselves a little time for creativity on the weekend, there is something dreadfully wrong! 

I was inspired for this one by the rather large stash of ribbons lurking in my scraproom. I'm not one of those neat scrappers who has a pretty dispenser with ribbons on spools, I've been crafting for way too long for that and I have a few boxes of snippets and lengths of all sorts and all colours (except the one I particularly want of course) and honestly, I should do something with them. If you are anywhere near the same, here is a tiny start.

After the boys page comes a very girly page. This one would be lovely as a vintage page, but you could dress it in modern clothes too and it would look just as lovely.

I felt like doing a sketch tonight, for a photo I want to scrap tomorrow - so I thought you might like to share it :-)  Hopefully I will actually get time tomorrow to do it, and I hope you have some time for scrappy pursuits this week too. So relaxing, so fullfilling, so enjoyable.

Here we are at the end of the week again. Did you do anything useful or exciting with yours, or was it just getting from one end of the week to the other and being grateful it's done with? I hope in all the busyness of your life, you are finding some time to just be you - and some time to be creative. This week's sketch has boys in mind, but could easily adapt for a girl page, too. Or a holiday page maybe. Hope you like it.
